‘Rudravanam PS’ Will Achieve Bigger Success Than Expected: Harish Shankar

Produced by Ramesh Puppala and Suryakanthi under the Yellow Flowers and Sri Chakra Movies banners, and directed by Shashidhar Munnangi, the new series “Rudravanam PS” begins streaming on ZEE5 from October 30. A grand pre-release event was held on Wednesday, with blockbuster director Harish Shankar attending as chief guest.

Speaking at the event, Harish Shankar said it was a pleasure to see producer Ramesh Puppala again, recalling how Ramesh had encouraged him during “Mirapakai.” He said he could never forget Raja Ravindra’s support, called Vivek Kuchibhotla family, and said he was happy to see Vivek’s wife Suryakanthi turn producer with this series. He wished director Shashi great success, adding that he had seen the content of “Rudravanam PS” and expects it to be a bigger success than anticipated.

Naresh Agastya said his journey on ZEE5 began twelve years ago with “Pasupu Kunkuma,” followed by “Paruvu” and “Vikatakavi.” He thanked the ZEE5 team and producers Suryakanthi and Ramesh for trusting him with this project, said he had discussed many stories with Shashi — who he believes has many more great stories in him — and praised the cast’s performances, inviting everyone to watch from October 30.

Director Shashidhar Munnangi described “Rudravanam PS” as a crime-thriller with every episode designed to be engaging, calling it a standout Telugu crime thriller. He thanked the ZEE5 team, his producers, and his cast.

Producer Ramesh Puppala praised Shashi’s direction and thanked the ZEE5 team, saying it was Harish Shankar who inspired him to enter the film industry and that he was happy to have him at the event.

Producer Suryakanthi said every episode of the series is engaging and never boring, thanking the ZEE5 team, Harish Shankar for attending, and the media for their support.

Vivek Kuchibhotla thanked the ZEE5 team for the opportunity and praised Naresh Agastya’s cooperation, saying he believes “Rudravanam PS” will be a good series.

Sravani Reddy thanked the director and producers for the opportunity, said working with Agastya was a pleasure, and credited cinematographer Ashker for how well the cast was shot, adding that the crime-thriller will appeal to everyone.

Raja Ravindra spoke of his years-long association with producer Ramesh and wished the series success.
