‘Husharu 2’ is produced jointly by Rahul Varma, K. Veena Rani and K. Hanumanth Raju under the HK Films and Kaliyuga Varadha Creations banners, and directed by Sri Harsha Konuganti. The cast includes Rahul Ramakrishna, Ashok Galla, Ravi Antony, Dinesh Tej, Sasidhar, Rajai Rowan, Abhigna, Srikanth Kanni and Bobby Rachakonda. The film’s teaser was released on Tuesday, and People’s Star R. Narayana Murthy attended the launch event as chief guest.
It shows the unemployment problem brilliantly: R. Narayana Murthy
“Harsha garu gave me a great role in ‘Husharu 2’. I have played a good role after many years. The film will make you laugh even more than ‘Husharu’ did, and make you think as well. It portrays the problem of unemployment brilliantly. We are losing the right to work, and there is no fair reward for hard work. The film gives struggling young people a great message: live independently, freely and with self-respect. I hope people embrace such a good film. ‘Husharu 2’ will definitely be a hit. Director Harsha never compromises; after Ravi Raja Pinisetty, I see that quality in him. The cameraman worked with great patience. If people like a film, they will make anyone a star, and Harsha has made this film to win people over. I request the media to take ‘Husharu 2’ to the people.”
More laughs than the teaser: Ashok Galla
“The teaser makes it clear what ‘Husharu 2’ is going to be like. The four of us have very entertaining roles, and Murthy garu plays a kind of mentor to us. We make you laugh right from the start, and the film has even more laughs than the teaser. This is just the teaser launch; I’ll say the rest at the success meet.”
Rahul Ramakrishna
“I hope everyone liked the ‘Husharu 2’ teaser. We are seeing it for the first time too. The film will be even better than the teaser, and I hope everyone supports it.”
Based on things that happened with my friends: Sri Harsha Konuganti
“‘Husharu’ is the best memory of my life. I didn’t make a second part just for the sake of it. ‘Husharu 2’ is based on incidents from my own life with my friends. My childhood friend Rahul Varma has turned producer with this film, and he is a good friend. Rahul (Ramakrishna)’s role in this film is wonderful. When you watch it, Ashok Galla, Sasi, Dinesh and Ravi Antony look like friends in real life too. Working with Murthy garu gave me priceless moments, and his scenes will be a blast in theatres. The film has turned out very well. I’ll share more at the upcoming events.”
Producer Rahul Varma
“I loved ‘Husharu’. I felt I saw my own life, and myself, in it. I’m happy to be producing ‘Husharu 2’. Everyone has supported me a lot. Having R. Narayana Murthy garu in our film is our good fortune, and I think the film will please everyone.”
Vidhi Yadav
“We worked very hard on ‘Husharu 2’. The film is built around love, friendship and humour, and I learned a lot on this journey. I think everyone liked our teaser, and I hope you keep supporting us.”
Dinesh Tej
“It brought back the ‘Husharu’ days for me. Harsha gave me my first chance. ‘Husharu 2’ will be ten times as entertaining as ‘Husharu’. I’m happy to work with Rahul anna again, and it’s our luck to have R. Narayana Murthy garu in the film. It will appeal to everyone, and it will reach audiences soon.”
Art director Srikanth Ramisetty
“I worked with Harsha on ‘Om Bheem Bush’, and we are on the same wavelength. Harsha writes his stories in a very fresh way, and I think I have delivered what he imagined for ‘Husharu 2’. The team has become my family. The film will appeal to everyone.”
