Natural Star Nani and director Srikanth Odela’s ‘The Paradise’ released on September 24 and has been going strong at the box office. Trade reports put its worldwide gross at around ₹175 crore by the end of its first week. To celebrate, Nani, Mohan Babu and Srikanth Odela came together for a fun chit chat.

One story from Mohan Babu had everyone laughing. He recalled that Srikanth Odela had first told him his character would have a wife, to be played by a newcomer, and had even held auditions for the role. But after Mohan Babu’s first schedule wrapped, the director told him the character had been dropped because of story changes, and Mohan Babu jokingly accused him of “cheating” him. He also said the film’s fight sequences were extremely demanding. The full chit chat is in the video above.

Mohan Babu plays the antagonist Shikanja Malik in the film. Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal and Sonali Kulkarni play other key roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music, and Sudhakar Cherukuri produced the film under the SLV Cinemas banner.
